I take naps here and there, but not as often as I need them! I have three children, the youngest (20 months old) takes two naps a day still, my 4 year old naps here and there as needed, and the 6 year old only naps sometimes.
Nothing wrong with telling your child that everyone is going to take a little rest if needed.

As far as me I only get saturday days off so that day as soon as he goes down ,yup, I jump into bed for a nap myself! You are right ..it does suck because when you get up you seem just as tired as when you laid down!

I always seem to feel worse after a nap. I'd love to be able to take a siesta like the Spanish though.
