Pretty much just the conditions of the building we're living in and the fact that one of our neighbors is a total ass, actually.
The road is in crummy shape, but only because they're in the middle of repaving it so it's all dirt and rocks right now.
Kind of fun to drive down in my opinion...but certainly no good for the little kids that like to ride around on their scooters and bikes.

I wouldn't really know if the taxes are high though, since this is the first house I've ever lived in that wasn't owned by some landlord.

I have to say the people.

I was just walking into the complex, and stopped dead in my tracks as a woman was watching her dog take a crap then as she was about to walk away, I ran up flipped a baggie over my hand and handed the dog shit to her.

Of course, she laughed (one of the great ways Chinese people here show shame in their actions when they know they are wrong- which is utterly infuriating to me), and threw the baggie of her dogs shit on the ground.

So I picked it up again and walked her over to the rubbish bin and explained that I don't don't come into her house and shit on her floor, why does she let her dog shit all over where people walk abouts?

The shop keeper, who gets annoyed by all the people letting their dogs crap in front of his store, gave me a bag of mangoes in thanks.

Nice shop keeper!!!

We hate the city we live in, the only reason we are here is for work. If the money wasn't so great, we would have been long gone by now.

My housemates. They are inconsiderate, overindulged slobs who have been so sheltered they've never understood reality. They think everything is daffodils and daisies and are too "free-spirited" to clean on a schedule because it is "too negative" and"puts them down." One of our housemates was fine for years, but the second he moved in with his girlfriend (and us), it totally went to crap. My partner and I miss the days where things were awesome and it's sad to see people change for the worse.

Can't wait to be out in a few weeks.

The neighborhood kids. I love kids, I think they're amazing..but these kids all choose to play directly in front of our apartment, make so much noise all day, and leave trash all over the grass. They try looking in our windows, have opened our door before, and are very rude in general. It's frustrating!

I had neighbors like this once. They were fine most of the time, but one time, their bored kingergarten-aged son opened my front door, walked into my house, and asked if the cat was home.

I kept telling him to come outside with me so we could look, but he kept walking around my living room, picking things up, asking what everything was.

I just kept thinking, "What would happen if the parents came in here yelling that I kidnapped their child?"

The house is a drafty rattrap.

And my mother is very annoying.

Where I live now is perfect and have nothing to complain about but have had a neighbor in the past who thought they owned the street and they had just moved in. The neighborhood I live now is peaceful and quiet, all the neighbors help one another. Its sounds unbelievable, I know, but it really is very real!

I love how we live, not where we live. We live in a great house and neighborhood. I just hate the city we live in. The weather, the air quality, the fact that it's far from anywhere I want to go (the coast or the SF bay area). Like I said though, I love HOW we live. So there you go.

Taxes are ridiculous in NY and also my boyfriend's mom's ex is still living with us, but we can't get him to leave because legally this is his home since he's been here for like 5 years or something. *sigh*

Houses cost twice as much here as where I used to live. Taxes are high, too. It's a quiet neighborhood with not much traffic, but outside the neighborhood, traffic is often bad. These are pretty minor complaints, though. We LOVE living here and are in no hurry to move.

I inherited my brother's house, which is also the house us kids grew up in, so it's really messy. It's up to me to clean it all up and renovate it. Plus, I have a weird living situation. My mom and my step dad live next door to me, and ever since my mom passed away a couple weeks ago, he's been really mean.

I dislike all the demographic people in my area. Very blue collared and narrow.

Ugh, the only thing I really have in issue with is our neighbors. There's a lot of kids that are in the neighborhood and we live on a cul de sac, so all the kids are always playing out there. Some of the parents let their kids and dogs run around and they don't stop their kids from running through our yard and driveway and we've actually gotten scratches on our vehicles because the kids were playing next to them. These kids and their parents have zero respect for boundaries, I'm so glad we're moving next month.

1) It's kinda far from school
2) Our city in general could deal with a little more rain
3) Our state could deal with less Juniper pollen and Cottonwood seeds (of which I am super allergic)
4) Less homeless/semi-homeless drunk people would be awesome

Most of these aren't really fixable, but I just am putting it out there in case someone is a magic gene and can grant wishes!

High taxes where I live now, corrupt local/city Gov't, large swaths of poverty and inequity in the area in general.

oh yeah, crime too.

While I love where I live at my rent is going to go up again and I am only in a 2 bedroom and I need a 3 bedroom because the baby has to get out of my room. It is mainly quiet but there have been some rowdy neighbors lately.

What bothers me is that this is a small, closed minded town. Many people are angry and mean. Plus businesses often close at insanely early times so there's nothing to go do.

On top of thr taxes and my obnoxious neighbors, I don't really like the town.

Personally, I am most annoyed by how difficult it is to get from where I am to everywhere else! There are no options if you don't have a car, which makes visiting friends expensive and going out for a night quite difficult.

It's crazy! Seriously, my children have been taught that you don't do things like that..where are these parents when this is happening? You know what I mean? I get kids that knock on my door and ask me if I have food they can have. They obviously aren't in need of food, otherwise I would help, but my husband made the mistake at one point of handing out some extra pizza when we ordered too many for my daughter's birthday party. I keep my door locked all day now, even when I'm just sitting in my living room so that no one opens the door. It's crazy to me!

Hmm... I'm not sure I have many problems with the house I'm in... well, OKAY: I wish we had a bigger kitchen, and I wish the builder did a better quality job on the construction. As far as neighbors go, I hardly ever see them because I rarely venture outside when I'm home.

What bothers me most about the state I'm in (one where the largest city has a population of <200k) is the lack of decent restaurants and grocery stores. I miss the big-city ethnic food availability. All I can get here is BBQ restaurants and the most generic American food from the shelves of my local grocer. WAAAH! LOL!
