Carpet. My old bedroom had hardwood, which I kind of hated - it's cold and uncomfortable to lay on. My bed is about 100 years old (seriously), so it creaks really bad. When I lived with my parents, we used to try sex on the floor sometimes to make it quieter.

What flooring do you have in your bedroom?
Not by choice, but since I have 2 dogs and 2 cats in the house the whole house is tile. When house breaking a new dog it's helpful that the carpet doesn't absorb the stench.
