Anyone on Eden, or anyone in general?

I think there are very few things that NO ONE in the world knows about me. I might be shy at first but I'm an open book if anyone asks me questions. I'm not afraid of hiding myself and what I've been through, but I also don't lay all my cards for everyone to see if they don't first ask.

I guess the biggest thing I keep to myself is the battle I have within. I've dealt with a lot of depression over the years and came up with certain coping skills that aren't exactly healthy. When things aren't going well and I'm feeling really down, my mind instantly goes to that and it's hard to pull myself away from it. I've developed good self control, but I can't seem to prevent my mind from going there. I guess after 15 years it's a little hard to retrain your mind.

If I tell you, then someone will know, and the very answer will make this question moot

Well, the only things that NOBODY knows are kept that way for a reason. Although, there is only like 1 or 2 things that not a soul knows. I tell my boyfriend just about everything.

There are things I won't even share with my SO for fear of the way they might look at me after, never mind sharing publicly. That is a risk I am just not willing to take no matter how discreet this site is. Sorry, we've messaged but I just can't, there are things we all have to deal with internally and deal with as individuals and alone.

That I'm actually not pretentious at all. I like all kinds of music and media. Just cuz' I talk mean about one reality show doesn't mean I don't secretly watch another one with popcorn!

@ PoP, I meant in the world, not just on Eden.

Everybody: I just meant is there something nobody knows, NOT specifically something upsetting, bad, or that you really don't want anyone to know for a reason. I don't mind if you don't want to share, that's only if someone wants to do so. It can be something silly or profound. Maybe you eat a certain food combo that is unusual & nobody knows, or that you shoplifted a pack of gum when you were 8 yrs old, or that you talk to yourself or your pet when no one is around. Or simply say yes, there is something & leave it at that.

Definitely~~they are very personal and I keep them hidden inside for a reason. Most people do not get that I am shy, not unfriendly.

I don't have anything that NOBODY knows, there are a ton of things that EF people don't know, but that's because I have made no friends here
