What do you usually do with those cloths you just cannot or don't want to wear anymore?
Where do your old, outdated, or non fitting, clothes go?

My family has always donated anything they will take that we can't use anymore. But we use the places that come to the house to pick it up. Don't assume your stuff won't be taken, ask first. I know many people won't donate old underwear or clothes they think are too ratty. But guess what? There is an entire industry around using these fabric scraps & the charity that picks them up, sells them for money to the rag collectors - sometimes, they can get more for the scraps/rags than they can from clothes! The scraps are then recycled/used to make insulation & all kinds of stuff. I know some places even take broken watches & then the people with antiques, or collectors, buy these as a source of spare parts! Not to mention the whole trash-to-treasure movement. You never know what they cam make money selling!

I give most of my old clothes to my sister, she loves all my old t-shirts and bags, whatever she doesn't want I give to good will.

Some go into boxes and are put out in the shed just in case, while others are given to family, and some donated to the church.

I offer them to friends and family and whatever they don't want goes to charity.

I have sold a few of my nicer old items thru consignment/ebay. But most of my old clothes go to goodwill. Some stuff that's in bad shape I'll give to this organization that goes door to door. They just chop up the clothes anyway.

Sometimes I donate, other times I give away. Most of the time I have a hard time letting go so they shot in my closet and when they finally fall to pieces I throw them out

If I know that a friend of family member might like something that I have, I'll hold on to it for them.
Other than that, they all go to The Salvation Army. :o) (It's where most of 'em came from anyway, full circle and all that...)

If they're worth wearing some more, then I give them away or donate them to Goodwill. If they really have no life left in them I'll toss them - but that is rarely the case.

If it's something i really love and cant part with i will hide it away in a closet in hopes that one day i can fit into it again, although that doesnt happen often. For the most part if i rarely wear it or it no longer fits i will ask friends if they'd like it and anything else left gets donated.

Typically they go in this order: hand-me-down, ebay, consignment, garage sale, goodwill/trash.

I donate them. If it's something really nice then I may put it on eBay but sales haven't been great for me on there during the past few years.
