How many of you research a product before you purchase it?

Contributor: Sir Sir
I buy a product based on both my own opinion of its looks, how sturdy it looks, how well made, by company (if I like the company, I trust their quality), and I usually read most reviews before purchasing a product.

Reviews tend to confirm or deny first look instincts, but looks often spark review reading.

Reviews by particular reviewers will make me take closer look at something that first instinct rejected. Many times I've been pleasingly convinced of good function over outer form.

The looks get my attention, then I read the details and see if it's something I'm interested in/know I would use, and then I read the reviews to see if it's worth the price. Then I weigh the pros and cons. Hope that helped

If I'm looking at vibrating toys, I always look at the ones with the highest vibrations, set the filter to ratings, and let looks guide me. Then I read the product reviews and compare it with the other highly rated strong vibes to make my choice.

By the looks and reviews. Or simply by the information available which is usually a lot if it's a luxury item.

It does depend on budget as well though, but I now save up for a luxury item rather than buying a cheaper item.

Im first caught by a product on looks and the type of toys I like; then Ill read the reviews; then look at similar products for comparison; then usually come back to the 1st one I looked at to buy.

Mostly reviews, although I tend to only read reviews on products I find eye-catching to begin with.

If I like the looks of something, I read the reviews, if the reviews read well, then I check the price, if the price is right, into the cart or onto the wishlist it goes...

I research with reviews. I do research for products that I see that I might like, even if they are for reviews too.

Sometimes, I'll buy things based purely on looks. Usually, however, this ends up with me being slightly disappointed. Now, I try to read the reviews, if there are any.

I mostly go by the reviews, especially if the product is on the expensive side because I don't want to pay alot of money for it and be disappointed.

Looks are usually what attract me, but I try never to buy anything at all, especially adult goodies, without reading plenty of reviews first. I want to have a good idea of what I'm getting, especially something of such a personal nature, and when I get something online.

I'm drawn in by the looks, but if the info on the product doesn't fit what I'm looking for, I'll move onto something else.

I have been finding that I make my more pricy purchases after looking at a lot of reviews and reading the contributors input. If the product is under $20 I do less research and just look at the ratings.

I've only made two real fucked up purchases from EF. Usually I do my due diligence but sometimes I don't and that's when impulsiveness bites me in the ass.

I always read the reviews but I also know my own body so the look of an item also factors in. I trust reviews that are well written or written by reviewers I recognize.
