I don't hear much about her here in Germany. Most during elections.
As much as I have heared she seems to be incredibly dumb.

I don't really know much about her, certainly not enough to have an opinion. She is painted as a ridiculous figure but I wonder how much of that is because she's a woman.

Sounds interesting. I haven't heared about her that much. One aspect was that she was very fond of the 'abstinence only' politics and had a pregnant teenage daughter.
