I have used Okcupid and POF. I found my current boyfriend on Okcupid and he is an 80% match for me on there, though we didnt meet on the site.

I've never had success with online dating. I've met decent people, a couple of which I've come to value their friendship and it's not awkward thinking I met them online anymore. So it's not completely useless, but you can't rely on a bunch of text to know if you've got chemistry with someone. People perceive themselves so differently that I've met very few people who were the same person actually in person. With that said, I don't use sites anymore.

I know there are happy stories about relationships that started online, but I met my first boyfriend online and that ended horribly. It turned me off completely from dating sites.

I met my soon-to-be-husband on PlentyofFish.com though I don't know it's really that great for matching people. He wasn't on my match list, but we found each other anyway. I had to figure out what keywords to use when searching to make it work best. Also, it's free (or at least it was when we were on it 2 years ago).

Just OkCupid and Plentyoffish. Plentyoffish was useless as all hell but I'm still on OkCupid for the sole purpose of finding friends at the moment. Stay on there long enough and you'll find someone, that's how it's worked for me in the past.
