Would it bother you to have a young-looking partner?

im with a man 8 years younger than me..at first it bothered me like i was robbing the cradle but now im over it.I think it helps if we both are on the same maturity level...if he acted like a kid it would be different.im almost in few days 33 and he just turned 25.
and to you looking younger..it might bother you now but when you get older you will appreciate looking younger..believe me!

I have never been in that situation (have always dated older guys) so I don't know how I'd feel.

I and both of my partners are college students. One of them is often mistaken for being a few years older due to having very thick and fast-growing facial hair, and the other is sometimes mistaken for younger due to being very petite. Neither circumstance bothers me much, but I've never been with someone who gets mistaken for dramatically younger or older, since we are all legitimately quite young as it is.

When my hubby doesnt shave his face he easily looks 10yrs older than he is, then being 6ft5in helps and when he does completely shave his face he looks maybe 18. I however am short and look like im maybe 14 or 15, i constantly get carded, its so annoying. I dont mind when the hubby looks younger I actually prefer when he looks somewhere in the middle and he doesnt even seem to notice that i look so young, probably because he likes to tease me abuot being older than him lol

It's funny, at work people always assume I'm a few years older than I am and just look really young because of my maturity and the fact that in some ways I have a position of authority over them. But outside of work I get told I look younger than I am. But having a partner who looks particularly young wouldn't really bother me unless they looked seriously child-like. As long as they looked legal I don't think I would have any issues with it. A friend of mine did avoid pursuing one girl who was flirting with him because she looked to be about 12 though. She was 18, but he feared the cops being called on him if they went on a date or anything.

I'm not attracted to younger people personally, and that does translate to appearance for me. I tend to prefer people who are at least 3 years older and up to 15 or so years older than I am. I think that it would bother me more on an attraction level than socially (fearing social judgment, unless my partner looked quite underage), so in the rare likelihood that I happened to already be attracted to the person, I'd be okay with them looking younger.

Does it bother you that you look young? Because there are a lot of ways to tip age estimates -- through dress, makeup, and posture. When I'm not wearing make-up and I have jeans on, I can easily be mistaken for a youngish college student (and get carded accordingly). However, if I'm dressed nicely (either business-y or evening wear) and wearing make-up, people tend to guess that I'm my age or slightly older. Posture also matters -- I get ma'am more than miss when I'm aware of keeping good posture. I know that there are some basic biological and physiological cues for age, but I've been amazed at how much I can tip estimates of my age (minus 5 years; plus 7 or so years).
