Here is an article I wrote about porn in our relationship--from before I watched it to current. Hope this may help a bit. I am also open to questions if you want to ask them....

Not at all

I don't think it's cheating at all.

Nope, not at all. Cheating requires a breach in trust. As long as you realize there's a slim chance of that person being with the people they're watching, it should be good.

No, watching porn isn't cheating. Honestly, my partner could watch porn with someone else, and I still wouldn't consider it cheating.

Not cheating in my book.

If it's not a breach of trust, then no. In the case that you have explicitly promised your partner that you won't watch porn (for whatever reason), then doing so is some form of lying, promise-breaking, or cheating (it depends on how to distinguish between the three, if at all). We can talk about whether it makes sense to make such a promise or ask someone else to make it, but once it's made, it should be kept.

We don't consider it cheating, no.

Of course not, we both occasionally watch porn by ourselves...no biggie!

Nope, it can be a release, especially when one partner is out of town for a long time

I don't think so and honestly people who think so tend to have some other trust issues. I see porn as a fantasy or a way to jumpstart your engine. I don't think fantasies can be considered cheating, it seems like an unfair and unreasonable demand.

Porn is fantasy. Is it cheating to have fantasies? I agree with sextoygeek--people who think of porn as cheating probably have other trust issues--and insecurities as well.

Nope, I really don't think that it classifies as cheating. If you've ever been in a long distance relationship, you'll know that sometimes you need something to jumpstart your engine, as sextoygeek said. No shame in that.

I don't think so, but you get to mutually decide what the boundaries of your relationship are. There's no automatic definition of what counts as cheating in a relationship, that's something you determine as partners.

Watching porn is notcheating. Making porn? Probably cheating.

Not cheating.

Not cheating as long as they're not lying about it.
