Everyone (or most anyways) has that one person-or pet- in their lives that they go to for everything. They can talk to that person about anything, open up, be honest-even if its brutally honest, maybe their "go to" person about relationships or tell them something when you've done something shameful or bad and know that person won't judge you. Mine is my husband. He irks the crap outta me, we argue and yell at each other sometimes and there are days that we just need our space. But at the end of the day, we know that we can go to each other for anything and everything and we love each other unconditionally.

For the vast majority of issues, I go to my husband (he is after all not only my lover, but my best friend). For the times where I might have a hard time opening up to him (whether it's because that is where the issue lies, or it's something that I'm extremely embarassed about), I usually either keep it to myself, or right it down, read over it numerous times, and get rid of it. Sometimes just seeing it on paper/a computer screen helps.

My significant other is the only person I feel very comfortable talking to, and want to be the most open with. We are very best friends.

On my second tier of close people, I have my mom and maybe three friends, but I never feel so at ease with them or get the chance to talk as much as they do!!

My wife is my confidant and always will be. She's the one I can tell anything to. When I'm worried about something medically, she'll be the one to make me see the doctor, to give me that extra little shove to make the appointment. I know she'll always be there for me.

My girlfriend is my number one confidant. I talk to her about pretty much everything going on in my life. My other confidants are actually my parents. Both my mom and my dad can tell when there is something going on, so I end up telling them about everything anyways.
