I had a fantasy recently that had an unexpected visitor, someone I honestly can't say I truly get along with. I had a really weird sex dream where I was dating my grandparent's handyman. Nice guy, but not someone I was attracted to in the least. I have no clue where it came from, but I remember waking up confused because it was a super hot dream, but the subconcious choice of man was bizarre.

Yes, I've had a similar experience. My fantasies tend to take on lives of their own. All sorts of people, things, and ideas pop up unexpectedly: former lovers, friends' wives, people I hate personally but am attracted to physically... If there's some sexual tension, they're liable to end up in my fantasies.

I've had a dream for a week or more and it was the same one every night. On hood of a cruiser sandwiched in-between two gorgeous cops and another one was watching with his flood light. It never happened in real life but I did tell the two that I was between and they got a kick out of it.

I usually know who'll be in my fantasies and what "roll" they'll play. Sometimes my brain throws me a curve ball and I usually go with it. If you check out Betty Dodson she has some insightful thoughts about what I think she calls "the thought police" people who make you want to feel bad about fantasies. Honestly, it's between you and your brain, you don't have to be embarrassed about something that's your business and yours alone.
