Have you ever found one of your in-laws attractive? If so, have you told your spouse about this attraction? Did it cause problems between you two? If you didn't say anything, did that attraction eventually go away? How do you handle being attracted to someone within your spouses family, without it causing issues with your spouse and your relationship? Do you think that this is common?

I don't think it's a good idea to let the spouse know. If people have that kind of troubling thoughts, they should know their position and remind themselves they're married to a member of the family, and think rationally.

I'm attracted to my sister's inlaw, but I think that's allowed!

It's common to feel an attraction to someone/anyone outside of a committed relationship.
If you're monogamous, you ignore it and don't act on it - simple as that - just like anything else. An attraction alone doesn't mean anything, there's nothing to "deal with" - you just don't do anything.
If you're in a more open relationship, sure, talk about it. Might be a bit awkward since it's a family member, though - especially if that other family member had no interest in polyamory.
Honestly, it's probably better just to leave it to avoid family drama unless it's already an open relationship and the family is openly cool with that kind of thing.

I definitely agree! I am so grateful that I am not attracted to anyone in my husbands family lol. Although, I was talking with my mom about this topic (random bs'ing, nothing actually raised as an issue) and she said that it could be pretty normal to experience this, since I have a natural attraction to my husband, its only natural that I may be attracted to his brothers or cousins if they somewhat resemble him.

I had a quick fantasy about fucking my husband's brother, until I found out how damn annoying he is.

What a tricky situation?? I think how you handle this situation is based on the kind of relationship you have with your spouse and the level of attraction you feel. Thinking someone is good looking vs wanting to sleep with them is a big difference.
