I suggest you extensively research the toys on EF to see what you might enjoy & then get them to try out if they work for you. it's really a learning/trial and error experience at first and a really fun experience.

Mr Will is right. It is a classic mistake to go back with your ex. Maybe you need to learn the hard way but you'll learn it. When I did it I always ended up with feelings for my ex and getting hurt all over again.

I agree with others about not contacting the ex.
Sometimes, when you get out of a relationship, your body just has to adjust to not having as much sex. Try experimenting with new things or maybe join something like okcupid to find a hook up, but if you're anything like me, the extreme horniness will go away after several weeks when you're not as used to the constant sex. And maybe by then you'll find a new regular partner anyway.

You probably have a few that "hang around". They know you/your situation and already care about you. The thing I missed the most being single was not really the sex but the emotional/physical connection to another. Having someone that would just cuddle next to me on the couch while watching TV was what I missed more than sex, but might be that me and my ex-gf also had done the long distance thing for a while before breaking up.
But will say in the interim did make a new friend and we decided to do the FWB thing since they were soon moving and I wasn't sure I wanted a new LTR at the time. We discussed this at length, including making rules about if we met someone new or wanted to end it we'd let the other know. Communication I think like in any relationship makes things clear and helps make sure there is still friendship at the end.
