Hi there, I've been reviewing for EF for a little while now and so far every item that I have sent has passed through customs without a hitch.
However, when I sent in this item for review: link
Along with some freebies like the rabbit silicone finger vibe and some glass ben wa balls, I received a notice from our local customs saying that the items are under the "Prohibited Importations of the Tariff and Customs Code" and that they are "goods or articles having representation of obscene or immoral character" and that they have been confiscated.
Now I live in a very Catholic Asian nation (can you guess what country? There are few Christian Asian nations) which doesn't believe in a concept called sex positivism. Everything is demonized here.
Right now I do not want to engage the customs and fight for my items because chances are, they will try to siphon money from me or at worst, put me into jail (I kid you not).
Soooo... What do I do? Do I just send the EF admin a letter saying customs thinks lingerie is immoral and obscene and I can't write reviews anymore?
I am REALLY ticked off and I think it is so unfair... Sadly I cannot do anything about it
