Do you think it would be good to have multiple follow-up reviews on a product? Perhaps the initial one after a couple of months, then another a year later to check in on how the product is holding up? My idea is that it would be one that the option to complete the follow-up is not available until a year has passed. What do you think?

I was just thinking about that as I was sitting down to write some follow up reviews today.
I wouldn't mind seeing a follow up to some toys six months to a year after a review is written. After two months, I still reach for the same toys, but I have found that sometimes, after I have received a new toy, that original toys that I loved so dearly, has been replaced with something I found that is similar, but better. And that might just help someone with making a purchase.

It bothers me when I see the followup written too soon after the initial one. Multiple followup options would be cool, but I think it would also be good if the followup option didn't show up until at least 30 days had passed.
Of course sometimes, the initial review is written long after the product's purchase, in which case the followup being written a day later isn't so bad.

I'd like a 1-10 rating which affects the review time. If people rate the review honestly, it would kick in new ratings.

I like follow up reviews... Maybe like you said, wait a year or maybe just 6 months. I find I have so many toys and I forget about some so then I use them and dont like them and wanna share again...

I think it would be helpful but to not allow points for any further follow ups just to prevent point farming. For 90% of reviews it isn't needed, but for some it could be really helpful.

I think this is a great idea. I've had situations where I want to write a follow-up in a couple of weeks (usually because since my original review I've had a chance to give the toy a test drive with a partner), but I'd like to also be able to comment on any issues that take longer to show up.

I think one follow up is enough.The follow up should be after awhile to if I saw multiple follow ups that would just annoy me.
