I've just joined the Mentor Program as a student, and I just have a few questions.
As a student, are we able to review any products? Such as ones that we've already used?
And what exactly are push assignments? How do you get push assignments?

Congratulations on becoming a Student on EF!
To start reviewing the products, just ask your mentor to choose an item for you.

You will be eligible to receive three free review products (one at a time) to review for their class. The products must be under $30 and have fewer than 3 reviews on them. The $30 limit applies to the regular listed price, not a discounted price.

In order to get push assignments (when administrator assigns you a free product), you should have an Advanced reviewer status and be active on the website. The better rank you have, the more chances of getting a push assignment

You should also be able to review products you already own/have used. But if you don't have toys/products to review you can make requests for free toys, and unless things have changed the requested free toys need to be from Eden Fantasys, Eurokay, or Aphrodisia brands.

I know it was easier to become an advanced reviewer through the mentor program, and I just reviewed 3 products I owned that I hadn't reviewed yet for a mentor. But you should speak to your mentor to see if they have recommendations of toys you should request or if they are fine with you reviewing toys you already own/have used. As those toys might no longer be offered by EF so might be more useful to the community to review products they still are selling/carrying.
