#EdenTasks - Upcoming Editor Rotation - October 2012

Contributor: So Long Ya Doofuses! So Long Ya Doofuses!
Has there been some sort of issue with the EdenTasks program? The only review I've been able to see in the Task Market for the past three or four days is Sammi's test review. Perhaps this is an exceptionally dead time in terms of review-writing, or perhaps the reviews get snapped up pretty quickly, but I want to know if anyone else has noticed this.

Now that the reviews are caught up, new submissions to the market get taken very quickly. Try checking at different times of the day than you normally do, and you'll likely see some in the market

I've noticed too. Makes me wish that an editor was required for every review because I've noticed several errors among reviews by advanced reviewers, myself included.

You took the words out of my mouth. I've seen a few...and especially one reviewer/writer I hold in high regard otherwise, miss some simple mistakes. A 2nd set of eyes couldn't hurt.

Has there been any discussion of incentives for turning reviews over to the administrators (in cases of plagiarism or whatever)? It has to be done (I've sent two this week), but as it stands, editors lose their opportunity to earn points for editing reviews every time they send one on. I think that either it should not count against the total number of reviews that can be edited daily, or else there should be some number of points awarded, maybe 100, for sending the questionable reviews to the administrators.

Too bad there aren't more people needing theirs reviewed. I am limited on the different times I can get on, which is usually in the evenings, and they are all gone. I've went on line some times during my lunch but there aren't any there either. Oh well, while I do enjoy doing them, I'm not going to grumble about not getting them. Thanks Sammi for all you do!!!

There has been a discussion . It will still count towards your number of reviews for the day, but if you send me an email with the task number, review title, and reviewer name, as well as where it was plagiarized from after you've sent the review to admin, we will provide extra points (100 per review). The review must be sent to admin and not left in the market to get the points.

My best advice would be to take your time on the editing test and do the best you can on it.
How do you know if you were declined by the test or because there were no open spaces in the rotation? Is a 100% score required to pass?

The current round was primarily determined by test score, and so those who scored highest on the test were selected for this round. A 100% score isn't required to pass, but scoring in the highest group of applicants is needed. If you want to know specifics on your test for the round that's in progress, send me an email at sammi@edenfantasys.com , and I'll be happy to go over your score.

Pfffft I completely forgot to turn in my edited test review due to school. Drat! Anyway, congrats and good luck to all the new editors!

When you send a review to an administrator, is there a box for explaining why you are transferring it?

If you add it as a comment we'll see it - this also emails the reviewer and lets them know the comment on the review. You can also send JR (almon@edenfantasys .com) and me (sammi@edenfantasys .com) an email, letting us know which review it was and why you transferred it.

If you applied for EdenTasks and were declined, you can send me an email at sammi@edenfantasys.com and I'll be happy to go over your test with you - this round was primarily determined by the test score, although it was not the only factor.
