I prefer a vibrator/dildo because it provides so much more stimulation. A buttplug will provide a feeling of fullness but not much else.

I have a plug, and I've used a vibrator but I really just want a vibrating plug. Turn it on and leave it in sort of thing.

Its easier to take a vibrator/dildo slow than a butt plug. I think if I had tried a plug before a vibrator, I wouldn't like my plug as much.
