Glass is excellent when it comes to surface texture like nubs and swirls. The smoothness is great for easy insertion, but be aware of the presence exerted by the rigidity of glass. It makes it feel larger than a soft toy of the same or even greater size.

I like glass the best out of all the materials, but not so much for anal. Silicone is better for that in my opinion, it is softer and more forgiving. I do have Moon shine butt plug and I have Icicles No 1 for glass anal toys, but use them more vaginally. I like silicone toys so far in my bum.

I like glass, but also like silicone, stainless steal and wood as well. The benefits of glass are I can use any lube with it, it holds temperature well, and it makes from some of the most beautiful toys in existence. Aslo there are some types of toys you really need a hard material for like juicer dildos.

Me, I don't like glass. It just doesn't sit right with me anally or vaginally. HOWEVER, I found that stainless steel is absolutely lovely, as well as silicone (which is my favorite material).

As for GLASS toys, we have some of all kinds, but glass and metal have the advantage of super, SUPER slick surfaces. With a good SILICONE lube (only kind I would use with glass or metal, but also the only time I do use silicone is IF I am using glass or metal toys), they are SO slick they go in with almost NO effort. Combine this with a lube shooter to get some lube inside you first (they are very narrow syringes with blunt ends) and you have serious comfort to get you ready for your boyfriends visit there later!!!
All gain, no pain...that is OUR motto.

Personally, I prefer stainless steel, but given the options silicone can offer decent weight depending on size and also offers comfort for long term wear.

I have both and like both. For anal use I strongly recommend avoiding textures until you're more advanced, as they can easily irritate - especially when they're in glass or very stiff silicone (gentle textures in soft silicone are probably OK).
