are there any G-spot vibes you would use for beginner anal play? I still don't want the SHARTS & have read about many peoples' experiences. and they all vary from one end of the experience spectrum to the other.

If you want to play with your partner's butt or you want your's played with... shit happens LOL
Seriously though use a clear water enema if you feel like you need it.

I was concerned for my first time using a butt plug (by myself) and I bought an enema, but I didn't even need it! What I did was wait until I knew I was cleared out and then to be fully sure, I decided to use a glycerin suppository (no worries for me using it anally, but vaginally, I cannot go near glycerin, such as in a lubricant). Anyway, I put in the suppository and left it in for half an hour and then let it out (ahem, into the toilet). Of course, it was liquid by then and it cleared out anything that would have been in there, but there was nothing! The nice thing is it acts a little as a lube, so it was easy to slip in the lube shooter I bought (I used Sliquid Hybrid lube).

In all, I was pleasantly surprised about how easy it was to be clean and that there was no mess on the plug, or on myself either. If you are particularly worried about anal incontinence, you could simply wear a feminine protection pad afterwards, or a Depends, but if you don't have any issues now with sphincter control, you're unlikely to start from light play. And if you do, then thank goodness everything washes off, right? Perhaps reserve your initial forays into anal play for early on a weekend, so you have time afterward to deal with whatever happens and not have it happen while at work, hmm?

If you're curious about anal and don't want the pooping sensation, I'd say start with a tapered plug (something like this) or anal beads. When I first tried anal, I remember using my fingers. When I got an idea of the type of stimulation that I wanted I graduated into using my Rainbow Heart. I've never had any problems with anal vibes, but I personally would not use a g-spot vibe as an anal toy because the curve in the shaft would probably bump the tip of the vibe into the sides of my rectum, thus make me feel like pooping. But that's just me. And if you're concerned about smearing poop all over your toys you should consider giving yourself an enema & not eating greasy/oily food on the day you plan to practice. Here's a quick video about how to give yourself an enema.

I usually start by taking a shower with a toy and lube. use the bathroom a few hours before, then use the toy to "clean out" wash off, etc. you should be good to go.

Try using a lubricant that is Glycerin free. Glycerin is one of the main ingredient in some suppositories because it can help get things going (if you catch my drift) I always recommend a quality silicone one or a Glycerin free water based gel.
Also, keep some baby wipes on hand for clean up. You might never need them, but then again if you do you'll be glad that you did.

I would personally never, ever use a g-spot vibe for anal play. Period. I suppose (depending on the texture and material) that it would be safe to do so if it was just the tip of the vibe and the vibe could be completely sanitized afterward though.

Personally, my husband and I have been having anal sex and playing with toys for about 5 years now and it's a pretty regular thing in our lives now. When we first started, it took me hours of research to find a good clean out system that I liked for myself.
Everyone who has responded to this question has given GREAT advice! I have found that for myself, the best approach is to make sure I use the bathroom FIRST, then I fill an empty enema bottle with plain warm water and clean out. When using this method, you don't need to hold the water in your rectum for long at all. Just get the water in there and then release. This will make sure that your rectum is washed out well...and if the water looks dirty or murky, "rinse and repeat" until it comes back out clear.
I also make sure that when I do my clean out that it's at least 30 minutes to an hour before I plan on any anal play or anal sex happening. This will give your body a good amount of time to absorb any leftover water inside.
Also, I do get the "sharts"....but that's only after my husband finishes off inside me..so I guess that's more like the "jizzarts" LOL! And that only lasts for like...5 minutes RIGHT after we're done. I've never had any problems hours later or the next day.
As far asa first time anal toy, I would suggest a small anal plug or anal beads like ScorpioCurves suggested. That way you can play by yourself to get accustomed to the sensation and gradually work your way up from there if you want.

EdenEve,
If you are still interested in trying some anal play. Get a metal or glass toy to start. Very easy clean up

I am also new to anal play and I am curious how long it took you to make anal a regular thing in your sex life and if you did any prior "anal training" using plugs for extended periods of time prior to doing anal sex regularly. Also, I read horror stories about people having issues holding feces if you have anal sex on a regular basis? Is this more of a myth?
