I would start with fingers and then try some of the smaller plugs. There are some cheaper plugs you can start out with to see if you like the feeling of the toys in your butt like the 'lil end, butt hungry, or the pleasure plug #1. Sam gives some great advice and suggestions. I will add one very important product, LUBE and the more the better. Anal play of any kind whether it be with toys or a penis should NEVER hurt. So use a good lube (I like Maximus) and go slow.

One thing you can also consider is getting some thin latex exam gloves. They help to "smooth out" fingers and make them slide easier. This is especially good if you have calluses or other hard parts on your fingers. Needless to say they can also keep it feeling a bit cleaner.

I dont think I could ever get into this. My husband had tried fingers, but it hurt waaaaay to much. At least I can scratch that off the list of things I have tried out.
