The importance of button placement.
In the course of reading product reviews, twice I've decided not to get a toy because I learned that the button placement was odd.

Look at the tantus line. They make great toys. I would go with silicone or glass. Tantus's plugs are all silicone, I believe.

There are many great silicone plugs that work wonders for beginners. A few suggestions:

I highly suggest silicone, since it's sterilizable and able to be shared. I would not suggest glass, as it's rigid and more difficult to adjust to.
