So, I know water based lube is all but useless in the bath/shower, and that you can't use silicone lube on silicone toys, so what material is best for a dildo that I intend to use for shower sex? I'd like something compatible with silicone lube in a relatively body safe material. Any suggestions?

You can use oil based lubes with silicone dildos, although if you're talking about vaginal use it's probably not a good idea. Alternatively, I know many of Tantus' dildos can be used safely with Eros Bodyglide (Not the newer O2 ones).

Get a quality silicone dildo and quality lube and they can work together. Do test first.
