I love glass, but I don't know if I'd ever feel ok spending that much on an insertion-only toy. What do you think?

Insightful breakdown of Glass dildo:

Would you rather use Glass or Jelly?
Hello would you rather use this or Jelly. And what are the differences?

Anyone ever had a glass toy break?
I just dropped mine on the tile floor in the kitchen. I was removing it from the dishwasher, where I washed a few glass and metal toys. Guess what....

Woods or glass?
Which do u think is better over all?

#AskEden - Are SSA Glass toys being discontinued?
Are they no longer going to be carried by Eden Fantasys? I'm loving the 70% off sale, but am worried that they're no longer going to be carried once.

Glass Toys]
What is your favorite glass toy, and why? I haven't actually had any experience with a glass toy yet, but I was wondering what others think, and if...

A beautiful glass toy will last a lifetime. It's safe, pleasurable, and pretty. I'm definitely willing to fairly compensate the artists and craftspersons who create them by hand.

I'm sure every catagory has overpriced toys, but many, maybe even most are fairly priced.

I've paid this much ($180+) in the past - but that was before lower cost options were introduced. First I look for the best low cost option - then if necessary, I'll pay for something higher if that's my only choice.

All the dichroic glass pieces are really expensive like that, because making/using dichroic glass is a time consuming, delicate & expensive process.

I think eventually I will want to add some of those pieces to my collection. Now that I've got a great collection, I'm working more on adding some luxury pieces, or pieces that are different from anything else I own. The dichroic glass pieces are definitely on that list, even if they aren't at the very top.

I actually got a glass I liked for only about $30.

Glass will last forever if you take care of it, the only reason to get something pricey is because its pretty My stuff stays in the closet so for me no way in hell would I be caught spening more than $30-$50 on a glass toy

I wonder the same thing, there is a certain glass toy I want right now, but it is expensive and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to spend that kind of cash on one thing.

I love my glass so to me yes it would be worth it. I can understand though that to some it's just not.

It's hard for me to imagine paying that much for something that doesn't vibrate and is rechargeable, BUT, I do recognize that glass can be art. I suppose I would spend that much if there was something about it that I found particularly special compared to other glass pieces.

Glass is so durable if it's taken care of. I think if you can purchase during a sale and utilize points, what you actually pay won't be so much.

I have wondered this too. I'm just not sure. It is beautiful though.

It could definitely be worth it- but it would haveeeee to be a piece I absolutely wanted. no second guessing with that kind of price.

Possibly, but honestly, the only way I'd get an expensive GLASS toy is with points. I can see spending money like that on a vibe but not a glass dildo, but that is just me.

I LOVE glass, so yes, for me luxury glass is the only type of toy I would want to spend the big $$$ on!

I think there are cheaper glass pieces just as good or better than that one. I'd never pay $199 for one

It depends on the design/texture, etc, as with all glass pieces. But it could definitely be worth it.

It depends on the design and if there was a more affordable option available.

I couldn't justify spending that much on a toy.

I'd pay that much if I had it to casually spend and I had reason to believe that I'd get more enjoyment out of the expensive toy than I would several cheaper toys and/or that it was worth more than cheaper toys (custom made or something).

Yes I would. I think the Fist would be worth it and a few others in that price range.

I personally want the same one! I so think it's worth it. You can't put a price on something you want.

I have the clear version. Premium glass not only has better details, but is tempered properly so they're less likely to break.

Anything "could" be worth that price... but I haven't found one I was willing to buy for that price.

It's beautiful, hand made, and will last forever, if you really enjoy glass toys they're totally worth it, while I like them I'm not willing to spend that much on one
