About 6-7 inches. I have some that are much longer, but that's because of their handles.

I'm for short, girthy toys too, although if I find a dildo with the texture/girth/material /looks I really like, then I'll compromise and go longer. As such, I currently don't have any dildos under 8", even though 6-7" would be perfect for me.
