Sorry - the smell comes with the material. Get VixSkin or O2 silicone for a nice soft silicone experience. They'll cost a little more but if taken care of properly they can last forever. You intimate parts deserve the protection from the awful chemicals causing the odor.

Every jelly toy we have ever gotten has had a "jelly" smell to it. We have not purchased any jelly toys in years, partly because of the smell.
