If your boyfriend doesn't want you to get something realistic, I'd suggest speaking with him to find out his reasoning. Is he receptive to you having something that is less realistic. ...or something smaller and less threatening? Maybe you can come to a happy compromise. If not, you could always get something for your own personal playtime. Either way, I'd recommend sticking with 100% silicone. Have fun.
