Agreed. Just because it is life-LIKE doesn't mean it is REAL-life. As long as it isn't connected to another man, I don't feel it is cheating. My easily-jealous partner also does not feel it is cheating.

I agree with Toys in Love. It's a toy. Do you consider using your hand cheating?

Not at all. Our preference in toys leans on the more realistic side of things, it's just hotter thay way. Besides, realistic toys can't cuddle me at night or put ice on my hands when I burn myself cooking or tell me how I beautiful I look that day...it's an inanimate object and I sometimes wonder how people rationalize that a toy will replace them in a relationship.

I never consider masturbation to be cheating, regardless of the toy used. It's cheating if you're with another person.

We use them for couples play - cheating never enters into the equation.

At the end of the day, it's just another hunk of silicone (or rubber, or TPR, or whatever your material of choice is). Being more realistic in shape doesn't change that.

Uhm. No. A toy is an inanimate object, whether it's a lifelike dildo or a 700-function vibe. Unless it starts listening to me rant about my crappy day & brings me soup when I'm sick, etc. it's got nothing whatsoever to do with whatever relationship I may have.

Besides which, a lot of guys like seeing their partners play with toys or using them together. In that case, I'd probably go for a less realistic toy just because I'm straight, thus dating straight guys who don't really want to look at other dicks. But, that's just a matter of being considerate, not concerned.

I just did a review on my first realistic dildo. I say it's good but I didn't buy it and I probably wouldn't have. It doesn't make any difference. I just don't want my husband to feel funny by seeing it. I haven't asked him but I prefer not to have any issues.

No, I don't feel that it's like cheating. It's a toy! No matter how realistic it may look, it will never be a real penis.

That said, I used to avoid realistic dildos. Not because I thought it would be offensive to my partner for me to use them, but because they creeped me out. Then my male partner told me how hot it would be for him to watch me use a realistic dildo. I have a lot of toys, and he still prefers seeing me use realistic ones.
