I had the same thing happen. I used to pretty much only buy vibrators. I tried a few dual density dildos and never looked back! Now I have way more dildos than vibrators!

I think I would lean towards vibes more if more of them had strong, rumbly vibrations. More often than not they're weak and buzzy. That just doesn't do it for me.

I still love both, however I have had a change of heart over the years here. I also used to only use vibrators - and at one time, only rabbit style. I thought I'd NEVER want to use 2 toys at once, that sounded like too much work.

Then over time, I got hooked on using 2 vibrators at once and I left the rabbits behind for the most part.

Then over time, I also switched to using dildos more than vibrators for penetrative play. I agree - there is NOTHING like a nice dual density dildo. Always reliable, no batteries to recharge or take out... and feels heavenly. (Especially those delicious VixSkin dilos!!!!)

It's funny how our tastes change over time, isn't it?

I love vibrators and I can't see myself losing too much interest in them. I think I'll always need at least a clitoral vibe.

I haven't gotten a dildo yet, but it's going to be my next toy purchase. My vibrators have been letting me down, and I'm finding that I am not a huge fan of vibrations to get off on.

Depends on the design. I love a good vibrating toy if it's designed to hit just the right spot, but I like the looks of a realistic dildo. Just depends on what I'm in the mood for.

Both are great. I frequently use a vibe for clitoral stimulation while using a dildo for insertion.

When I first started with sex toys, I knew nothing about them. My first toy was a waterproof acrylic vibrator. I used it and liked it but in the end it wasn't quite my thing. Over the years I've learned a lot about toys and I find that I like dildos more. (Dildos with clitoral stimulation, that is.)

I now don't really have any interest in buying vibrators.

I used to be more interested in vibrators too, but now I'm more interested in dildos as well. I do use them together (a dildo with a clit vibe), but I'd be more likely to spend more on a dildo at this point.

My first sex toys were dildos. I knew I liked penetration and I've dreamed of owning a dildo (or several) for years. I didn't like the idea of vibrators because it sounded so odd, but I've learned that the right power level and type of vibrations makes all the difference!

I started out with vibrators but quickly added in dildos. I can't say I like one more than the other, seeing as (for me) it's two different types of stimulation. Most often, though, I use both at the same time.
