Vixskin v. Tantus silicone quality

Contributor: JGrey JGrey
I actually own few Vixskin realistic silicone dildos, and ever since i got my first one i loved the quality of wixskin double-density silicone - not too squishy - not too hard. However i was looking for something new and really liked the shape and look of O2 Mark by Tantus.
If there anyone who tried both brands - which silicone you like better, Vixskin or Tantus - shoud i stick with Vixskin or try Tantus?

Hard one there. I have the Vixskin Randy and the Tantus O2 Cush. I would say that the Randy is softer overall while the Cush has a firmer core with a slightly firmer (than VixSkin) outer skin. I guess I like the O2 better just because it provides more pressure when I want it. Although, I love to ride the hell out of Randy.

Try the Tantus, what do you have to lose?

Check out my dual density comparison video over on this review (I totally promise to put up the other three reviews in the series soon!) But both VixSkin and O2 are shown and compared there. If you have more questions I'm glad to help!

They're both very similar. VixSkin has a slightly thicker soft coat and it's more symmetric. The differences are noticeable in the hand but not so much during use. As far as silicone quality goes both Tantus and Vixen are top tier.

We have both Vixskin and O2 formulas - although we prefer Vixkin - the O2 formulations work well. It seems to me that people who want non-realistic colors go the O2 route - if you want realistic skin colors Vixskin is your obvious choice.

Well, I really like both though Vixskin is definitely my favorite. If you already have Vixskin, you might as well try O2 as well. I thought it was a lot harder than Vixskin and I prefer squishier but that's just me.

Thanks everyone, thanks Antipova. My O2 Mark finally arrived, my first impression is that (as ScottA said) that Vixskin has softer outer layer of silicone. And Vixskin feels slightly sticky when you touch it, when my Mark is just velvety all the way around.
I think i like the feel of Vixskin more, but... i have not used Mark yet, who knows, maybe he will rock my world... Will post an update.

Generally I like Vixskin better - overall it's softer than O2, and I like the feel better... but I notice the "squishiness" can vary noticeably from one Vixskin toy to the next.

I've only had a couple O2 products, but they seem more consistent so far.

I just got my O2 Mark yesterday. It's very nice and the matte feel of the shaft is quite lovely, but overall I think I like the increased squish of VixSkin a bit more. VixSkin is more delicate than O2 and requires more careful storage, though, so there's that to consider.

But really, you can't go wrong with having some of both in your toy box. Gotta love that dual-density silicone! Looking forward to hearing how you like the Mark once you've gotten more familiar with it!

Hard question to answer! I'd go with Tantus just because you have a few vixskins already.

Shape, size and texture of a toy is really a personal choice, usually decided by a persons own anatomy. We have most all of the Vixskin line from the Spur to the green Maverick and Colossus. We also own four or five Tantus O2 toys. All of these are quality dual density silicone. The larger toys get little to no use from us. Generally speaking, my wife feels the Vixskin best mimicks a real penis. That said, not everyone looks for that in a dildo. The one's we most use are Vixskin Mustang, Goodfella, and Spur.

I have the Mark and like it but it is too firm for me. If you like firm dildos then you'll like Tantus, but if you like soft dildos then you'll probably prefer Vixskin.

Agree. Also, depends on if you like realistic (vixskin) or semi-realistic (some tantus).

I found them both to be of equal quality. The difference comes down to size, texture, and shape. I probably have more VixSkin favorites, than I do Tantus favorites.
