I modify toys all the time, trimming seams or making a base on a plug more comfortable etc. etc.. Hair can be removed pretty easy in most cases but it will leave small holes where stuff can get into. If you want to remove it, it may be better to use a condom or just trim it close to the material.

I have not done that before, but i bet your could even shave the hair off? I dont know if this would hurt the toy though... just a thought.

You can usually modify toys, though I'd see if one of the reviewers already tried that. You're probably not the first person to want to do that.

Silicone is hard to do, so get something that's a bit of a junker to try it out on before hacking up your favorite toy if your toy is silicone.

I'm not sure how the hair is in relation to the rest of the toy, but you could either cut that whole area off or carefully slice the hairy surface off. The hair probably isn't in over 1/4" or so.

Yes. I shortened the string on my Emigi, and I've removed the boning from corsets before. Both went very well.

Hairy balls?! Wow, that's unique. Yeah I wouldn't hesitate to cut off part of a toy I didn't like if I thought it wouldn't be hard, like shaving it off with a sharp knife. Especially if it was something near the base that wouldn't destroy the function if I screwed up.

There is one plug base I away want to trim but I've never tried it, but as other have noted it is doable.

I never have. You might be able to cut off the balls with a boxcutter.

I've shaved off some ridges from a silicone Jopen Vanity vibrator. It can definitely be done, you do need to use a very sharp tool, go very slowly, be careful and keep it all clean. If you want to see how I shaved off those ridges, you can check out the Follow-Up on my Jopen Vanity Vr10 review.
