I would if it were sterilizable. I don't see a problem with it. There's a whole thing of EdenClassifieds on here.

It depends on the extent of use, material, and if this person is a close trusted friend.
I would would go for it, but definitely with caution.

Depends on the material, but most likely, I wouldn't.

I'd be happy to get rid of the luxury brand stuff that is glass, silicone, metal without giving it a second thought.

But for me using second hand toys? I would need to know the person I am getting them from and be knowledgeable of how they regularly clean their toys. I mean after all, doctors instruments and pap spreader thingies are cleaned and reused without hearing "gross".

Depends on the material and if it can be steralized.

I have a glass toy that once belonged to one of my EF friends. I feel perfectly safe using it. If it were a lessor material, probably not.

I would if it was of a material that was able to be sterilized. I'd much rather be able to get something for as cheap as possible. Clean is clean.

I agree. If you can sterilize it, it's clean, back to ground zero and there's no evidence of previous owners. Anything that is silicone, glass, or metal I would be okay with.

Even if the toy can be completely sterilized, I'm not comfortable using someone's old toy.

Never. I don't care how sanitary it is, it's the idea of it being used by someone else.

I don't really think I would use anything that could not be sanitized fully and it would have to be relatively new like tested once and then sanitized immediately after then resold.

Depends on the toy, the user, and the material. Since there are some that can be sterilized, then yes, but only after a good bleaching and boiling. If the previous owner has some sort of STD, though, I don't think I'd want to chance it.
