As many of you may know, I'm working on lingerie reviews now along with vibrators and I even share pictures of me in the lingerie- currently at 265 pounds, 44D bra size, 49" waist, 57" hips and 5'4" height.

I try to put in everything I can think of - but is there anything else you'd like to see. You may need to check out my reviews to get a feel for how I write them.

Also - does the "story" type approach bug you and would you prefer to see them with just the information or do you like the humor/stories I try to put in them?

I really want to do reviews that will make your lingerie decisions easier to make.

I just browsed your recent reviews. I personally don't -love- the story thing. As for on-site reviews, I like to get to the meat and potatoes so I skipped a lot of your editorializing. It's cute but not what I want to see here. I think others might disagree, though.

I personally find your photos less helpful because we're not of the same body type so it doesn't help me to decide if I'd buy the same piece for me. That's true for almost all the lingerie reviews I read, though. It does give me a slightly better idea of fabric and such but nothing amazing.

I think your lingerie reviews are amazing and I really appreciate them. I have made two purchases just from your reviews. Whether or not we are the same body type makes no difference to me, I appreciate your photos and humor all the same. I think you are awesome for doing what many of us feel ashamed to do. You are amazing and I have a lot of respect for you.

Personally your reviews are way more helpful to me.

Well said. I totally agree with this. I find your reviews informative yet entertaining. I do not know many people who are as brave as you are to put pictures up for the whole world to see. By the way, I think you look fantastic in those photos.
We are not the same body type, but if we were I would find the pictures very helpful. I still love to look at them nonetheless.
I think you do a wonderful job as is. I say don't change a thing. Keep up the excellent work.

I like to see photos in plus size reviews, because "plus" size models are generally an XL at most, and because a professional photo shoot doesn't show what the piece looks like on a real woman. Even though my body shape isn't the same as yours, it certainly isn't the same as the curvy model. Between the two, I can usually get a good idea of whether the piece is likely to work for me.

The other thing I love to see in any clothing reviews is measurements of the real piece, and whether you feel it runs true to the official sizing guide.

And you already know I love your style, so I wouldn't want you to change a thing there.

I'm not plus sized, but hopefully my opinion is stil helpful. I'm not a big fan of stories, I really just want to know about the product. If I'm actually looking at buying a product I will just skip over that part and look for the information that is useful to me. I like seeing pictures of a real person wearing it, and having the reviewers measurements included, and I find it extra helpful if they can not only include how it worked for them, but who the lingerie will fit and look best on.

Thanks to everyone so far for your comments. I am going to take some measurements later tonight and try to add them to some of the latest reviews.

Also, I really do need to get my torso length because I think that will help others in seeing why the clothes fit me the way that they do.

Your pictures make the reviews. It shows the garment on an actual person that is not photoshopped, dieted down to an inch of her life and on a plus sized model. Your pics show hidden factors in the garment and fit that many of us can relate to even if we are of a different body type. For example, the black pinstriped outfit you just reviewed, I thought was horrid...UNTIL I saw it on you and the curves it gave in the right places! You looked amazing in it, this is why the reviews are important. How you format them isn't as important as getting the information in there others need to know prior to purchasing. I enjoy the stories, but also am skimming for the info as well. As soon as I can get a better set up for pics I am going to start doing more lingerie reviews, I love it but think the pics make all the difference.

I would like to ask for some help from y'all. If you like me doing these reviews and find the pictures helpful - would you please suggest WHAT it is that you'd like to see reviewed?

As many of you may know - Eden is giving their contributors a nice coupon this year for one-time use. Between now and the deadline for using it, I should be able to earn over $200 in gift cards between my writing and my video reviews. That isn't including points and affiliate code earnings.

I love doing the lingerie but I'd really like to be able to review pieces that y'all would like to see. Here's what I'm looking for/at.

I can do reviews that are Coquette 1x/2x and 3x/4x along with Plus Size. For Dream Girl I can do 1x/2x and 3x/4x plus I think their version of plus size.

When I looked up Seven Till Midnight, I decided I could probably do 1x/2x and 3x/4x plus One Size Plus Seven to Midnight Size Chart.

I can not do tight things on the hips/waist like corsets unless they have lots of give because I'm simply above the size range now. No use ordering something if it won't fit me and while I'm sure my darling daughter (TheBadHobbit) would love some new corsets....these are gonna be for ME!

I am pretty much going to stick to doing stuff that gives some support for the bust - so I'm looking for underwire /padded bra type items.

Go through the lingerie and post in here what you'd like to see reviewed and I'll look at what y'all like and choose from that first.

Here are some of the ones I'm considering....but I'm so nervous about making the decisions.

You have no idea how much this means to me.

Honestly, it is scary to put up those pictures - its scary for me to look at them because I see how big I am compared to some of the smaller gals on here and I find myself thinking, "How can my husband think I'm sexy?"

Then I remind myself that sexy is more an attitude than anything else and that to be honest with you, I've learned so much lately that I think I could be sexy with a burlap sack cause I'd cut holes in it and stuff and somehow find a way to make something and then a strip-off and tease him the whole time.

Too bad it took me 51 years to realize sexy = attitude more than my actual body.

I figure at my age - if I can help younger women have fulfilling sex lives with their husbands by being willing to "expose" myself a little - then its worth it.

I honestly went back and forth on the pinstripe outfit and the plaid outfit and kept thinking, "There is no way I can make these work" but then BadK1tty did her review with the video showing off the fabric, etc and she gave me the courage to try them.

I wound up showing my 27 year old son the pinstriped one (not wearing it - but we were on skype and I was showing it to him) and his dad was going on and on about it and I thought, "Here we go again...he's due to leave for work in 3 minutes...I know what he's gonna be thinking about...".

I guess I'll try to tactfully say it this way - if I wanna "score" - that is a guaranteed way to get attention. The man just LOVES that outfit - and he's always said that lingerie is just "so so" and doesn't matter.

Yeah...right.

Oh - before I forget - I ordered a demi cup bra today. I looked around all over town and couldn't find anything. It probably won't be in till close to the New Year (I had to go to Roaman's to find what I needed size wise) but I got a blush colored strapless demi cup and I will add pictures to the reviews once that comes in - not all of them - just the ones were the item didn't have any support.

Closing with storyline

But I would clearly put in capital letters "MEASUREMENTS" followed directly by "PICTURES" so that you would know to skip to those sections?

The Polka dot chemise/thong is in and I will be shocked it it doesn't go out of stock within 24 hours of my review posting. For New Year's eve this is a delightful little thing to wear.

Working on review today and should have it up in a couple of hours.

I love your reviews and I'm always glad to see other gals (especially plus-size gals) include pics in their reviews. I don't have many reviews up *NOW* but I plan to do plenty of reviews in the future, and I'm looking to improve mine as well.

I too find it a little nerve-wracking to provide pics, since I've no model's body, but I do it because I'm always wishing other lingerie reviews included pics (especially for plus-size reviews, since those are most helpful to me).

I don't know. The coupon is a one-time use and each person gets a different code to track it. You can find more on this thread and of course you can always contact JR.

However,I expect most folks are probably done working or close to it until Monday since it is Christmas Eve.
