This is for anyone who's had experience with wearing latex. Mostly, what is it like? When I think latex, I think balloons and condoms. Is lingerie-quality latex the same thing? Most products I've seen look a little bit sturdier than that.

It's been years since I have, but when I wore latex pants...one word: sweaty! I used 'shower to shower' body powder instead of baby powder or talc.

Latex clothing and lingerie is much thicker than a balloon or condom. The thinnest articles you might find would be knee-highs and thigh-highs, but even then they have seams and some give.

If you're looking at purchasing a dress or pants, be warned that you have to be very careful when dressing and undressing. Even fingernails can be the undoing of your sexy garment, as I learned with one pair of gorgeous cobalt blue pants.

Good to know! I figured they'd be sweaty, but I didn't know that they were so easy to damage. I've toyed with the idea of getting some latex, but I've also heard (and seen tutorials for) a bit about wearing liquid latex, both as a temporary peel-off garment, and layered over a cloth piece of clothing for a more permanent piece of attire. Anyone have experience with this, too?

omg I use to back when I did raves and boy did I SWEAT! it was horrible! I use to also get a rash even with powder use. I don't do latex clothes anymore.

Thanks to everyone for your input. I figured sweat would definitely be a factor.

I would try liquid latex, but I'm not sure my nipple piercings would like that.
