Do you listen to music during sex?

Contributor: sweetpea12 sweetpea12
I tried having sex with some music on the other day, and it wasn't as sexy as I thought it would be. Our first problem was that we couldn't' agree on a song. The second was that once the music started he kept doing things to the beat that seemed awkward. And it seemed really really awkward once the song ended before we finished. What tips do you have for better sex with music ?

If you really want music playing, I am sure there are more fitting selections. Maybe plan a new playlist ahead of time, considering the factors that were an issue. Maybe try playing it at a lower volume. Maybe go for something a little more on the atmospheric side. Good luck!

We almost always have music on. It helps keep rhythm with toys.

We have to have music on - C has a roommate and they share a wall between their rooms (both have come up with very original "muffler" set-ups to cut down on noise transfer). He just turns his phone on Pandora and it's generally jazzy stuff or industrial the whole time. I now can't think of Daft Punk the same way ever again.

We usually have some jazz going. It's more to block out our noises than anything else.
