Safe for silicone?

My partner often experiences pain and discomfort during pegging when we use water based lubricants. He loves silicone lubes but they are not compatible with most of the cocks I use on him for anal. We've gotten in the habit of using natural oils for play, and they seem to be working best.

So that brings me to Boy Butter: has anyone here had any problems using it with silicone? I'm looking to invest in some but I'm not sure if it'll be compatible.

Thanks for your help, everyone!

Based on Dwtim's Lube Compatibility Workshop, oil based lube should be fine with silicone. However, looking at Boy Butter, it contains phenyl trimethicone which I assume is a type of silicone. This may cause a reaction.

Yes, that was the ingredient that was concerning me. I guess I'll test it and find out!

You could always use a condom on the dildo to protect it.

This was the first non-water based lube I tried. I used it on my Happy Valley Deep Secret with no ill effects.

It is a nice lube but it is a bit watery. Mix well before use.

I just read the product description again and it says that it is safe for silicone based toys. I may have to give it a try also.

I think the silicone in it is a small quantity. It does not work all that good for play in the shower so that makes some sense.

Awesome, thank you so much everyone. I'm going to make sure I spot test it on my things before I use them, but I think I'll invest in some. Thank you!

We have used this on silicone products. They say it is a no, no. I know, I know! But we have used it on them and we have had no issues as of yet.
