I'll start by saying that I'm well-aware of the obvious rule when it comes to silicone lube: don't use it with silicone toys. In fact, that's the primary reason I haven't bothered to purchase any silicone lube--I just didn't have any toys that I could use it with. But now that I'm purchasing more non-silicone toys, I'm wondering if it's worth trying out a good silicone lube. Anyway, feel free to give whatever thoughts or advice you think might be helpful. Thanks
Should I try silicone lube?

If you're completely satisfied with the lube you're using, then I can't see a real reason to switch, but also don't have a reason why you shouldn't try it if you want to. The only con I can see to having both is that you might accidentally use the silicone lube with the silicone toys in the heat of the moment or something. Otherwise, I can't see a downside to trying a silicone lube. Some people love 'em, others hate 'em. I personally don't like the way they feel and I'm really happy with my waterbased lube, plus I don't often have occasion to use lube when I'm not using a toy and most of my toys are silicone. I don't like the chance of an oops and I don't have any issues that make me really want a silicone for those rare situations I could use one.

If you have never tried any silicone lube before, it is at least worth a try. You never know, you might like it better then your go to lube you are using right now. I am not a fan of silicone lube. It just does not feel right to me.

I really really really liked silicone lube. I used a kind that is not on the site so I can't suggest a particular brand...but man is that slippery.
Since finishing that bottle, I started buying silicone toys almost exclusively...I do love water based lubes, but the memory of that silicone does stay with me! Compromises....

we love silicone lube - this one especially: Ride. Here's the thing - you CAN use high quality silicone lube with high quality silicone toys with no ill effect. I've used this one with Tantus and Vixen silicone and there was no problem. If you do a small spot test it will be immediately evident if there is a reaction - it will get sticky and you will need to scrape it off the toy. This will mar the surface, though.
