If it was the right brand, I would probably consider it but never end up buying it. I don't use that much lube as it is, so there's no way I could go through a gallon in three years. If it didn't expire it would probably last me a lifetime!

I like having the option to change brands and try new options. I think with a gallon of lube, I'd be working on it for a long, long time. And what if I'm not happy with it, or I develop a sensitivity? Nah, I'll stick with smaller amounts.

I like variety so I can't imagine wanting to use only one for three years. I feel like I'd get bored, plus having a gallon sized container of lube around isn't very attractive.
