I sometime use J-lube which is a veterinary lube that is powdered and you just add water to the consistency you want. It has no scent or additives. The real win about this is it travels well, no spills or sticky mess and I can make up as much or as little as is needed from gallons to tablespoons.

But I also like variation so I wouldn't buy a gallon drum of lube if the price was such that I couldn't experiment with other lubes as well. There's also allergies to consider... what if you are allergic? Not such a bargain in bulk then.

Guess if you did not like it you could purchase empty bottles and fill up and give out for xmas. Personally would not buy it buy the gallon.

I wouldn't be able to use it before it either got spilled out by accident or went bad. Although, as some of you have been saying, it would be fun for a slip and slide.

If it was a GREAT quality, had a good shelf life and was thick enough for anal use.....heck yes.

My hubby uses TWO full size tubes of anal lube when he enjoys my tush a long evening of play.

I probably use one whole tube if I am playing with my fingers or a toy inside him.

Prostate play and general anal play takes a LOT of good lube. A Gallon would NOT last that long in our house.

For Vaginal play..we don't need anything nearly this big.

Buy it, empty about half into some empty bottles for the toy closet, leave the half-empty jug on the living room table. Next to a box of kleenex.

Conversation piece.

We generally end up throwing away half to two-thirds of 6 ounce bottles well after they expire...I can't imagine we'd make much of a dent in a Gallon of it!

Of course...this might make the slip 'n slide a little eaiser for the kiddos to use...lol!

I would seriously consider it, but I like to try different products a lot... I would hate to commit to something that giant knowing there are so many others! I buy my lube big enough to warrant a pump though >.>

If I found the right lube. But for now I'm sticking to smaller bottles, so I don't feel bad about throwing it away if I don't like it. Besides, where would I keep a gallon...

I bumped into it a few months ago too, and as I try to obtain as many things as possible to get prepared for a lifestyle where probably W/we wouldn't rely on the easiness of online purchases anymore I was strongly thinking about getting it as well...

Though I had two major questions in my mind, one is how long the shelf life is (what I have just found out by your informative post), the other was if it is really that cheaper that you'd wanna buy it instead of many smaller quantities... (I would still have to check it out as I donno yet though...)

I just wonder about one more thing now...

So I very rarely use any lubes, and saliva does for U/us pretty much always, so it wouldn't be finished for far more than 3 years - can I just toss some into the freezer?

I have just looked it up, it really depends on the price, but with the lowest amazon price and the price for the biggest amount on EF, of course it is a best deal!!!

That sounds like fun! Haha...maybe you could attach a lot of slip 'n slides together to make one really long one! You would slide forever!
