I wouldn't buy a whole gallon of lube. I don't think I'd be able to use it all before it expired.

I'd prefer a 2L pump top of Wet Light water-based, I use PLENTY of that but the largest I've found is 553ml which is only about 3-4 months worth for me at about 28 bucks, cheaper than the small bottles I used to buy for 8.99 each though!

Hahaha, I think this is hilarious, and I don't think I would ever be able to take myself seriously again. Also, because I live in a dorm, it would be awkward bringing that to and from school each academic term. XD

Some lubricants do not have a listed expiration date, but you should throw those out when they begin to look/smell questionable.

I think we could use it before the shelf life expired, but I don't think that we would want it just for storage purposes. It would be good if it came with a pump, or even better if it came with a smaller bottle that had a pump and funnel to refill it.

Probably not. That's a whole lot of lube. Maybe if it was ridiculously cheap though like $2. I guess it would be reasonable for a lube wrestling match though.

Lol, I wouldn't buy lube by the gallon. Even with a long shelf-life, I feel it would go bad... And I get finicky and like to change things up for no reason too.
