Repairing silicone Tenga Flip Hole...

Contributor: CanMan CanMan
I just got my Tenga Flip hole from Ef yesterday and after the first use there is a tear in the silicon around the area where the buttons are. Over time this could affect function of the toy. I really don't want to wait the 3 weeks to get it back in the mail does anyone know of a way to repair the silicon? Or will it just keep tearing and I should just return it and get a new one?

I would send in a ticket and ask if it can be replaced. Your only other option is something called Sil-Poxy but i dunno how well it'll work on something like that.

Is the tear on the outside? If so the Sil-Poxy that Goth mentioned might work or some hardware stores carry Silicone caulk that is suitable for hospital/food service applications. If the tear is on the inside I am not sure I would chance it. Not sure if there would be a problem reacting with the body.

Good luck.

So sorry to hear that it tore on the first use. There must have been a flaw in it. I don't know if silicone will continue to tear or not. As Goth mentioned, I think I'd contact EF.

I got this item as a buyout review and on the return slip it says that I owe $22.50, Is this correct? or should I just send it back an not worry about it? Has anyone else had this problem? If so what happened?

It's ok now. EF said ignore the difference of price, if I'm just exchanging it for the same product.

I have this same problem. The interior and exterior of this product has had many tears form after just one use. It is mostly the "inner wall" of the silicone material, that is just inside the hard plastic casing. Especially around the 3 buttons. If i push one even a little there is a big tear that opens up.

This is my first product like this. Is this normal? Or should I exchange it?

Send a support ticket, they will more than likely replace it for you.

Did you use lube? If so, what kind?

I used Hathor Aphrodisia lubricant pure. To wash I used warm water and non-antibacterial, non-scented handsoap.

Its not the inner features that have tears, but the inner wall of silicone that is attached to the outer plastic casing. About half looks to be in perfect condition, but the middle portion, near the buttons, just looks degraded and choppy. With a few large tears that go almost from the top to bottom button. The tears are exactly where the material would bulge in if the buttons are pushed, but i hadn't even used those yet. The tears do not go all the way through the material, but along it
