I had a vibrating strap on/plug set that I removed the bullets from. The toys in their original state were unpleasant for me and I didn't want to waste a perfectly good bullet. It was double insulated so we took the outershaft of the dildo and it's now being used on a fucking machine.

I have a (I think it's rubber or something simular) dildo which had balls attached. I didn't like the balls so I castrated him....hehe.

I have been considering cutting a slight sliver off the sharp grooved edge on my Mystic Wand.

Check the material first - it's possible that damaging the surface could make it almost impossible to clean.

My husband has cut the ears off a rabbit for me because they were so pointy they stabbed me. So he lopped them off, now it works nicely.

I've modified a masturbator or two now. Textures are something I really hate, and I had just cut the little nubs off. They were painful and now they're no problem.

Just a few mods. My two faves are/were a matched pair of jelly vibes that the motors died on. These were 2-2-1/4 thick and 9" long, I'd bought them at a local sex shop. The first I just cored out and stuffed a smaller smooth vibe in, interesting sensation if you do it while using it, esp if you work up to larger sizes. The other one's jelly fill soon cracked and fragmented and I was left with a thin cockform sheath that I slid over the other modded dong, but soon put an inflatable butt plug in. I find butt plugs boring, but what happened was the inflated plug and gooey lube sealed the sheath and as the plug inflated it compressed the trapped air ahead of it. I ended up with a dildo that started out at just over 2-1/4 and fully inflated was 3-1/4+ and 10+ long, but with some give. Unfortunately, there was a thin spot and it eventually popped Sad face I may try to patch it, just lay a big piece of saran wrap in stuck down w/ lube. Or electrician's tape. Winking

I notice sun spectrum lights and contact with other odd plastics or strong soaps may change the color and de-elastisize some dongs causing cracks.

I once got a dildo as a present, it was made out of some kind of rubber, and also super thick, so i had to "shave" it on the sides with the knife worked pretty good....

i personally never had to alter any of my toys, thank god. i usually read all the reviews i can on the toy so i can avoid doing just this. i pretty much expect my toys to be perfect when i open them lol

Never thought to modify a toy I liked. I have, however, considered dissecting a certain jelly toy just for fun...

I've cut some silicone sleeves in half. They worked much better that way (and I have more of them!).

I'd be really curious to know if anyone's tried to make the bullet hole in a silicone toy larger with success. What kind of tool did you use to do this?

I haven't done it myself, but I would find a corded drill with a very sharp bit. I would probably do it in several stages, using a drill bit just baaarely larger than the current hole each time until you're up to the size you want. Be sure to go slowly, as well, so you don't overshoot the depth. This would probably be much easier with a drill press, but I guess most people don't have drill presses... if you could have an accomplice hold the drill steady and then move the dildo to it, that might be a solution.

I wouldn't use a drill bit, the edges catch the polymer, then it stretches around and more sticks to that before the "chip" is detached. It's too easy to end up with a spinning mess that can drag your hand into the exposed bit..and those edges are plenty sharp enough to gouge flesh. A heavy drill can wrap up your arm in the cord, then break your wrist.

A better way is to either see if a hot melt foam cutter with a wire head produces a smooth cut, or use a very thin walled tube as a circular knife. I used a 1/2 tube to core an Adam's pleasureskin out, it worked pretty well. I'm not sure about larger diameters, the tube must have a smooth edge, preferably honed with an outside bevel, maybe mounting a holesaw in the drill then figuring a way to get the tube over or inside the holesaw. I haven't tried that yet. I fit a 1.5" vibe into a 0.5 hole in an adam's, but the dildo did split when I forgot to take it out one afternoon.

I've never needed to modify any of mine. But I think with a creative look at it, depending on the material you could do some minor modifications.

In the matter of fact, we did it quite recently. Let's set aside the obvious things like adjusting the straps or making additional holes in the buckles for some kind of bondage implements - pretty much everyone has done it.

But last week we got this beautiful semi-realistic dildo and I was all over it. Right until the moment I've realized that something was prohibiting me from sitting comfortably. We figured out that the shape of the balls on this dildo starts a bit more drastically then I would like it, so my partner had curved a little notch between the shaft and the start of the ball sphere. Now it fits like a glove

For me, it is better to buy a new toy, than to risk destroying the one that I have. I'd rather spend more time on picking the most suitable toy for me than spend it on making some hand-made.

I trimmed my plugs base for the same reason. Was uncomfortable if your not basically spread wide open rubbed badly. To modify any silicone smoothly I use a foam cutter tool I made with a cheap 4 dollar soldering iron from harbor freight and just switched the soldering tip out with a same width but longer tip. Just wait til it heats up all the way and take your time stop if need to heat back up again. Have a razor knife handy if the tip needs scrapped clean. Make sure do it in well ventilated area. Once you remove the larger portion of the toy "I just cut with razor most of the time" then just use your tool you shape and smooth the area . Think it's right give it rub on some sensitive skin first . Feel a rough rid just smooth it. Til your satisfied with the results

There are several tools that make this easy for most all toys. Soldering iron for electrical mods, solder iron also can have the tip switched out for a longer tip for plastic heating, cutting and smoothing rough cuts, making small holes. I tried a foam cutting wand but just wasnt robust enough to do the same. A heat gun to warm peices til they will bend. A bench vise with a towel to hold the toy so your not awkwardly trying to hold it and work on it. A Rotary tool set think harbor freight sells a cheap set that's perfect for 6.99 some spoils of well insulated 26 to 32 gauge wire black n white some 70/30 tin lead flux core solder and flux to properly secure electric connections a bit of shrink wrap to insulate the bare connection point. Clear finger nail polish is cheap and seals electrical components from water or silicone shorts. Large pet nail snips are very good and strong for cutting wires etc. So are flush cut side cutter think either only cost 3 to 5 bucks. Disposable razor blades are .25 cents combined with a propane torch makes quick work of removing the bulk access material extremely quick just toss when done. That bout cover it. You can also make your own strong food safe silicone that's strong and flexible with 100% silicone chalk and cornstarch food coloring to color it. Sets very fast only have 10 mins to work the material into the shape you want. It's safe to insert I've got several I've made like this. If you like remote vibs etc go to your local thrift store buy a 2 or 3 dollar child's rc car with matching remote. Remove the receiver circuit board and cut the wires at the motors and generally will be able to connect 2 vibrator motors to that easy. Better the rc toy the farther away the controls will work. Acetone cleans up glues and residue great. Just check glues make sure it's safe with material your using as some might just not work at all and some will literally melt your toy. Electric toy water guns make great fluid modification for simulated orgasm injection. Old phones or cheap smart watches you have laying around broken have incredibly good micro vibrating motors of a high variety of shapes and sizes. Work on 3to 3.7 volts literally can use the battery from the old device to power it or the rc receiver your using to control the vibration motor . All in all a small tackle box some basic hand tools a couple home made tools and a variety of bonding agents and cleaning products. That shouldn't cost you more that 30 to 50 bucks to get set up. Extra electronic components like I said you've probably thrown away hundreds of. Anything takes batteries and rolls or moves and a remote control generally has perfectly salvageable parts. Or find them at a thrift store for under 5 bucks. some can control up to 6 motors at a distance of 500 meter over radio and some over a wifi app. Just google the toy and make sure the matching remote is with it and functional. My wife has 1 didlo she loves bc I took it and almost hollow it out and put a gear box from a dancing toy In front tip with a strong vibrator from a kids rocking chair with a remote and a base with suction cup attachment options. The base is hooked up to the same toy remote and will thrust the toy up and down at varying speeds about an inch. The vibration has on off switch which was the toys LED light switch and the second motor makes the front 3 inches of the toy apply pressure by literally move 1 way or the exact opposite way like it's on a hinge. Fills all empty space left the parts didn't fill by melting the leftover silicone I removed from it and pouring it back in. Just take your time figure out what you want it to do may cheap prototype that wont be going inside anything to fine toon your toy the buy the needed material and be patient. Have fun everyone

You can also easily modify glass toy s with the same propane torch tip you bought for the kit in my last post and use a yellow bottle called nap gas. To heat and shape the glass. I highly highly recommend safety glasses and ionly try this if your willing to screw up alot at first. Glass crafting take the most time and patience out of any I've tried. But you dont really need a lot to work with glass on a small scale. You can use a map torch for fine toning details but you'll need a Kiln period . Several incredibly cheap ways to make your own kiln instead of buy those fancy extremely expensive ones. Search youtube for a channel called nighthawk or just search homemade Kiln look for his channel it will be in the first few videos that come up. I have the same kiln and use it for metal and all other sort of materials and it only cost you a empty paint can some kitchen ingredients and you'll use that same map gas torch again. I also have a none gas Kiln that's bit safer. But it is a bit more expensive to craft. Unless you have a old working microwave laying around a cheap thrift store one will run you 10 15 bucks tops. I wont use my kitchen microwave bc how am I supposed to heat my hot pockets if I dont pay attention and screw it up bc I was being absentminded. So your 10 dollar microwave hit the hardware sort up for a medium size standard red clay plant pot with a drain base. You'll have to order the other main ingredient unless you know where to locally find it I couldn't. Hit Amazon up and buy some insulated ceramic wool. It gonna run you about 20 bucks. Once it arrives go grab a couple red solo cups and something to stir with that you'll throw away. Depending on the size you picked for your pot. 2-6 NONE ALKALINE 1.5 NONE rechargeable batteries that have hinse served there purpose and died. Those 6v batteries for the dollar general big flash lights and easiest to use are sun beam 9v batteries. They are dead batteries so they wont explode or anything that's going to hurt you. Just wear safter glasses and some latex gloves. RIP few of those suckers open and collect the inside material in a solo cup. Once you have that simply add drops of distilled water to the material and stir it til it's kinda like a thin pudding. Apply that to the top of your drain base you got with your clay pot and the inside of your clay pot let it dry completely. Drill a small hole if there isnt a drain hole in bottom of your pot. Now to assemble the Kiln. Take the turn table glass out and put a piece of the ceramic wool on it and securely tap it down set your drain base on that. Take more ceramic wool and wrap it around your pot and secure it in place as well not covering the btm hole or the wide opening. And your done. . You can set your glass peice on the plate set the pot over it and just run your microwave like your cooking a hot pockets just watch thru the btm hole now on top to see how warm your glass is getting. You can recycle broken glass bottles this way melts the glass together. of you sit a clay mold with glass in it in your new kiln it will melt and fill the mold . The trick with all glass craft is the part that is dangerous really isnt the heat source its removing the heat source. You must allow the glass to slowly cool down not suddenly and needs to eventually. If you accidentally cool the glass fast it will mostly likely crack instantly which can cause shards of tiny glass to pop off the item. Which is the most dangerous part in my opinion with the working of the material. So long as like my last post you pay attention plan out what your trying to achieve with the material your wanting to use.. and just use common sense and take your time. Like dont grab a red hot butt plug you just got done pour into your mold with your bare hands. Or mixing chemicals you dont have any idea how to read directions and google what the proper method is with using any material your looking to use .
