Safe to store together?

Contributor: Zombirella Zombirella
I just want to be 100% sure. Is it safe to store a silicone toy and a PVC toy together?
This toy is the one I have and it says Phthalates free.

I wouldn't. I am always a little worried about silicone, as I love my silicone toys and don't want them to melt.

I wrap my toys in handkerchiefs, so I can store them in my Locking Box, Devine Toy chest or Sugar Sacs side by side. As they are separated by the cotton, they don't touch.

I wouldn't either. PVC can break down and degrade. I wouldn't let it anywhere near a nice silicone toy, because if it breaks down or degrades next to it, it could get on the silicone, ruining it.

Pthalates aren't the only thing that can cause toys to melt. I've got a broken silcone vibe sitting with an awful TPR dildo. Neither have pthalates, but both are starting to warp.

That said, I wouldn't risk it.

My wife is forever getting on me about putting toys together, touching. She tells me all the time about the toy she had that sat against another one and they melted together! (was a pocket pussy and another vibe, can't recall which one). Either way, I know to make sure that all the toys go back into their "places" before we resume our previous activities. She'd have my ass otherwise, she spends too much money on these suckers lol
