A while ago, I bought my fiance a cool, glow-in-the-dark masturbation sleeve. It's made of silicone and it's very squishy. Last night, we pulled it out of our drawer with the intention to use it, but I noticed that there had been a piece of paper in the drawer with writing on it that got stuck to it an absorbed the ink. There is now a large grey spot on it. We ended up not using it because we weren't sure if it would be safe anymore.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, is it still safe to use it or should we get rid of it (and make sure we have a toy bag to store any future silicone toys in next time)?

Doubt it would hurt as it's not like a marker soaked into it, however this is why I keep all of mine inside plastic bags after they get cleaned/dried.

If it is 100% silicone then try some alcohol or other solvent to clean it (paint thinner, lacquer thinner). Let it air out thouroughly afterwards and it should be fine.

Good to know. I don't know if it's 100% silicone, but I can go to the store we bought it at and look at one of the packages to find out.
