What Happens

I wrote this blog to show what has been happening to a free rabbit vibrator that I got about two years ago that I started to store in a plastic baggie. I thought it might interest some of you.

Ew. That's gross. It's bubbly and just *shudder* Thanks for sharing, even if I was a little creeped out.

Yikes, good thing I've never been interested in jelly toys! Thanks for sharing.

Indeed! It is creepy! It feels almost like super smooth sandpaper. Not all gritty and gross but... the texturing on it now is so weird.

It's really only been in that baggie like... 3-4 months? Not long, but apparently long enough for damage.

In another month or two, I'll take it out and take more pictures to see how the damage has progressed!

Yuck! I just tossed a TPR dildo because it picked up something from the drawer I keep it in. It was a black stain and the only things that are black in that drawer are the EF tote and the Fetish Fantasy spreader bar kit and it's canvas. I was soooo not happy about it. (We're a condom free household.)

Omg, sorry, but it looks like a poor thing has a disease. Creeps me out! Gonna go have a look at my own old TPR and jelly toys. Wonder how they are doing

That sharpie stain makes it look diseased. I kind of wonder about the texturing going on - I had a jelly toy touching a plastic one for months at a time and nothing ever happened to either. Though there are different kinds of plastic, so I dunno...

You should keep us updated on the status of this toy. It'd be interesting to see what happens down the line.

I definitely will! I'll check back with it in about 2 weeks or a month from the date I posted this.

And yes, the sharpie stain definitely makes it look diseased.

I think the plastic toys are made from a different plastic than the ziplock baggies are made from.

I suppose it is about time for me to pull it back out of the cedar chest I have it in and see what kind of damage has been done to it now

what the hell? This is why I only stick to silicone... But I'd love to see how it turns it in the next couple weeks or so.

Thanks for this information! I used to sell PR too for about five years (i too, went under and couldn't afford to stay in)...But I also used the ziplock bagging system. Im actually still using it for my personal items. Needless to say, after reading this, I Went to my bedroom and removed them from the bags lol. thanks again!

My sponsor had told me to use ziplock baggies because it was easy to keep all the toys separated and organized for my demos.

Now that I think back on it, it actually weirds me out that I didn't even realize how many of the toys that PR sells are not entirely body safe and how much they claimed it is.

These responses have reminded me once again that I need to check on how it looks now.

I'm sorry! It must've happened when I was cleaning house.

Basically, the jelly vibe slowly started to disentegrate while in the plastic baggie I had it stored in. It was a vibe I no longer wanted to use because it was made of jelly material.

I never did go back and look at it, and to be honest, I think I threw it out finally after I moved in with my girlfriend in April.

Sounds icky! This is why it's better to stick to safer materials.
