Feathers for powder

Contributor: Peggi Peggi
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for feathers that are good for dusting yourself with powders. I purchased this and the honey powder is fantastic but the feather just falls apart too easily.

I was just curious as to what everyone would suggest. I did notice the pompom, but didn't know if that would be good for much other than a feather teaser.

Hmm, that's actually the feather thingy I was going to suggest. I think the problem with feathers in general is that they're all going to be pretty fragile. What about something like a large makeup brush instead?

Goose and cock feathers are pretty strong, if unbleached.

That's actually a really great idea! I wouldn't have thought of that lol.

You can always just take a pinch of it and spread it with your fingers also.

It's a great way to spread around any kind of powder I think.

Yeah, I would suggest a large make up brush as well. I've used one of those large powder puffs (for body powder) and they work ok, but it is too easy to get uneven coverage with those.
