I just got this in the mail today and was looking forward to using it. However, I can't figure out how to activate it. The instructions say to bend the metal, but even when creasing it nothing happens.

I know it hasn't already been activated because its still gel, not solid.I'm afraid to crease it too hard incase I rip the casing. Help?

Sorry to hear you weren't able to use the massager.

It may be a bit complicated to bend the metal plate for the first time. Try to apply a bit more pressure. If you've done it right, the massager will start warming up, still remaining in gel form. After approximately an hour, the massager will start cooling down with the gel hardening (but still not solid.)

I have used this massager multiple times. If you have ever played with a dog clicker toy or a children's cricket toy, the metal tab is similar. You essentially need to bend the tab as if you are trying to turn the disk inside out. This should start the chemical reaction.
