You started off with a good one. You don't have to worry too much about sizing your cock ring with a stretchy one. Get the feel for it, see if you enjoy using one. Then go with a stainless steel ring. When you or if you decide on a stainless one, you will need to get a measurement. The easiest way is to use a string. Wrap it around the base of your penis and balls, mark where the string overlaps and measure the distance when laid out flat. You don't want it too tight, but not so loose that it does not do anything.

As married stated, since this ring stretches you should not have a size issue. As far as putting it on your partner, are your initial plans to have it worn at the base of the penis, or around both penis and balls? This ring should work either way. Is your partner shaved or at least well trimmed? If not, you might consider giving him a shave or trim before putting the ring on. This ring can be a real hair puller. Since this ring can be rather constrictive, you also might want to limit the time it is on to 30 min. or so.

Also agree with married with children about the stainless steel rings. After giving this one a go, you might consider a metal ring. For me, they are much more comfortable, and have same or even better results.

I don't like the look of him shaved, but trimmed yes - he kinda maintains a long buzzcutt (like idk maybe about 1/4-1/2" long hair). I would imagine getting hair caught would ruin the fun.
