It went from never to almost always in a very short period of time. I tried several nice looking but expensive metal ones before settling on a very inexpensive silicone ring - the little bit of give in the silicone goes along way toward making it easier to put on - and take off. The metal is OK - but can also get in the way.

I have this silicone one as well - very stout - but not really easy to use link
This is the metal one I have and it's OK. Never had a hard time getting it off because we generally use lubrication when having sex - enough gets on the metal to ease removal link

We have used the stretchy ones with much success. The stretchy ones allow us more flexibility (and ways to remove it) while still being comfortable.

I've tried a couple stretchy vibrating rings. The last one I tried was a bit too big to actually work as it was meant to, but I enjoyed the vibrations from it. I'm still trying to find one that fits just right.
